Costly Promises
“I rejoice in your promises like one who finds great spoil.” Psalm 119:162, NIV‘84
There is nothing more valuable than a word from God. There is no word from God more precious than a promise.
If you do not value the promises of God, it is likely you have never taken them to the bank.
When you learn to plead the promises of God, and make withdrawals from the bank of heaven, you will begin to recognize just how valuable, costly, precious, and powerful the promises really are.
Healthy Christians, like David, rejoice in God’s promises.
Loving Father, I value your great and precious promises— they make me rejoice all the more in your goodness.
