Tainted Blood

Tainted Blood

“For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.” Hebrews 10:4

There is blood and there is blood. Not all blood is created equal.

For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

The blood of animals has never forgiven a single sin, and it never will. When Solomon killed 122,000 animals at the dedication of the temple (2 Chronicles 7:5), all those thousands of gallons of blood were tainted. It was inferior blood, incapable of forgiving one person of a single sin.

Every drop of every other blood sacrifice all points to the single sacrifice of the blood of Christ. Christ alone had untainted blood. His blood alone can take away your sin. Hallelujah!

Loving Father, I praise you with my whole heart today and the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus to wash me clean with his untainted blood.
