New Jersey and New York on Fire

New Jersey and New York on Fire

Many peoples and strong nations shall come and seek the Lord of Hosts…to entreat the favor of the Lord. Zechariah 8:22

Today, New Jersey and New York are known for their highways, smoke stacks, industry, and sky scrapers. A hundred years ago, they were known for the presence of God.

In December 1904, New York and New Jersey experienced a dramatic move of God’s Spirit. City newspapers published daily columns entitled “The Fires of Pentecost,” “Yesterday’s Conversions,” and “The Power of Prayer.” In Atlantic City, with a population at the time of 6,000 people, 5,950 were reportedly born again. One article reported, “Pentecost was literally repeated… spacious churches crowded to over-flowing, and great processions passing through the streets.”

What God did then, He can certainly do today. Ask Him.

Father God, do in our day the great works that You did before. Right now, in this moment, I receive a portion of that toward which we are praying—revive my heart, stir prayer in my family, and ignite a passion in me until revival comes to my region. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Tuvalu and Kentucky.

This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
