Orphanage On Fire

Orphanage on Fire

“Let the children come to Me.” Mark 10:14

On this day, September 19, in the year of our Lord 1906, the Holy Spirit of God swept through an orphanage in Khamgaon, India. God’s presence was so strong that the children stood for an extended time of silence, hands lifted up prayerfully to the Lord. This was followed by overwhelming conviction, children swooning, confessing, shouting, praising and groaning in delightful encounter with God. The noise was so loud it was heard a block away, and yet there was no confusion. It was called a “wave of divine harmony.” Two weeks later, September 30, a similar visitation from heaven came to the Dholka Boys’ Orphanage. The entire staff and children felt the atmosphere change. It was like heaven on earth. One boy screamed in conviction of sin and others were overpowered in repentance and even rolled on the ground. There were many healings and several danced for joy. This revival spread from orphanage to orphanage, church to church. There were visions of Christ, bright lights of God’s glory, and extended times of prayer.

Loving Father, manifest Your presence today in the lives of our children, for Jesus Christ’s sake.
