Joy in Your Presence

You make him glad with the joy of Your presence. Psalm 21:6

The joy of God’s presence is not referring to the omnipresence, but rather the manifest presence of God. For many good reasons God’s manifest presence brings us true joy.
- In His presence we receive His loving kindness.
- In His presence we receive His blessing.
- In His presence we are more ourselves than at any other time.
- In His presence we see life from His perspective.
- In His presence we are delivered from evil forces that would steal our joy.
Take time right now to treat your soul to the joy of God’s manifest presence.

Father God, I can say with certainty that You make me glad with the joy of Your presence. Today, I gladly linger. I savor the empowering and exuberant joy You supernaturally give me.
