Promised Gatekeeper

Promised Gatekeeper

“I am the door of the sheep.” John 10:7

When Christ identifies himself by name, he intends to not only identify himself, but to activate faith and obedience in you. Every name of God is a promise, and the seven I AM statements are strategic.

When Jesus said, I am the door, he was primarily talking about the door to heaven, or the door inside the presence of God. Essentially he was saying, “No one gets in to see my Father without my permission,” or more positively, “Anyone can get to see my Dad when I give you access.”

We often end our prayers with the words, “in Jesus’ name, amen.” Don’t ever allow the access Jesus gives you to the Father to become routine, or some kind of magic jingle you put on the end of your prayer. Jesus is not a rabbit’s foot, nor a good luck charm; Jesus is the door by whom you have entrance into Father God’s presence.

And that’s a promise!

Loving Father, I enter your presence through Jesus, the gatekeeper, the door. Lord Jesus I am so grateful that you have revealed yourself to me as the door.

Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Bhutan and Colorado.
