The Secret of Contentment

The Secret of Contentment

“I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.” Philippians 4:12

Contentment is a mark of spiritual maturity.

Contentment is not the result of the accumulation of things, but an appreciation of what you have and of the One who provides them.

God often uses seasons of financial challenge to develop the illusive virtue of contentment.

Contentment is the fruit of gratitude.

Anyone can be content under certain circumstances, but the apostle Paul found contentment in any and every circumstance—in plenty and hunger, abundance and need.

The God of contentment wants to bless you with contentment now regardless of your circumstances.

And that is a promise.

Loving Father, I receive the grace of gratitude and contentment in Jesus name.
