The Blessing of His Name

The Blessing of His Name

“So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.” Numbers 6:27

God is brimming over with blessing and his name is full of blessing.

When God gave Moses and the leaders of Israel the authority to speak a blessing over the people, he also gave the outcome of that spoken blessing: So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.

God warns against using his name carelessly, “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God” (Exodus 20:7.)

When you speak a blessing, you are putting God’s name on people. This means that God does not want you to recklessly speak blessing either.

The privilege of speaking a blessing is a sacred honor. Just as sacred as speaking God’s name.

And that is a promise.

Loving Father, you have blessed me with the sacred honor of speaking your blessing and speaking your name. I receive this calling with humility, respect, and gratitude in Jesus name.

Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Lithuania and Nebraska.
