God of Blessing
God of Blessing
“And God blessed them.” Genesis 1:22
God is one big blessing waiting to happen.
Everything God says is blessed.
Everything God does is blessed.
Everything God creates is blessed.
When God created the universe in six days, it explicitly says, and God blessed them. These four words contain more wisdom than all the libraries on earth.
The blessed life is lived in association with God.
The choice to run away from God is the choice to run away from blessing. The choice of repentance—to turn around and run toward God—is to choose the blessed life. God is calling you to himself in order to bless you.
And that is a promise.
Loving Father, I receive your loving call, and I turn around. I choose to run toward your blessing in Jesus name.
