Blessed Humility

Blessed Humility

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:3

When the blessed Father sent his blessed Son, he began his public ministry by declaring a sequence of eight blessings. These eight blessings begin with humility: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Humility is one of the foundational kingdom principles. Nothing attracts the presence of God quicker than humility, and nothing repels the presence of God like pride.

Like a low-pressure system attracts storms, humility of spirit attracts the kingdom of God.
The blessing of humility is a promise, and it is also conditional. If you have humility, you will receive the blessing. If you do not receive humility, you can still receive the gift of humility, and that is a blessing.

Pride is not an incurable disease. Humble yourself, are two of God’s favorite words, and he speaks them often to his servants. Every time God says, humble yourself, he gives the grace that makes humility attainable.

Humility is yours for the taking, and so is the blessing of humility.

Loving Father, I renounce the spirit of pride, and I receive from you now the gift of humility and the blessing of humility in Jesus name.

We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Kiribati and Wyoming.
