Blessed Hunger
Blessed Hunger
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” Matthew 5:6
Hunger for God is the first gift of God.
Hunger for God leads you to receive every other blessing from God.
When Christ began his public ministry by declaring eight sequential blessings, one of the middle blessings was hunger for God: Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
The Bible clearly says that no one seeks after God (Romans 3:11.) This means that if you have a hunger and thirst to seek after God, you did not come by it naturally; you received it as a God-blessing.
Every blessing of God is a promise of God, and the blessing of spiritual hunger is the blessing that leads to one of God’s greatest blessings: They shall be satisfied.
People lust after many things that leave them empty and unfulfilled. Hunger for God, on the other hand, will always bless you with fulfillment.
And that is a promise.
Loving Father, baptize me now with hunger for your presence and your blessings in Jesus name.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Marshall Islands and Iowa.
