Blessed Are the Merciful

Blessed Are the Merciful

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.” Matthew 5:7

The blessed bless, and the cursed curse.
The wounded wound, and the healed heal.
The agitated agitate, and the merciful are shown mercy.

In the sequence of Jesus’ eight blessings that he announced at the beginning of his public ministry, he included a word we don’t often use—merciful.

The merciful are those who are full of mercy, and the only way to be full of mercy is to be a child of Christ, who has received a significant portion of mercy themselves.

Father God is the singular source of true mercy, which means that if anyone is full of mercy, they got it from him.

This mercy promise is linked to many other promises: Give and it shall be given to you, sow and you will reap, bless and you will be blessed.

The more mercy you receive, the more mercy you have to give, and the more mercy you give, the more mercy you will receive.

And that is a promise.

Loving Father, I jump head-first into the reservoir of your mercy. Fill my life with mercy all the days of my life in Jesus name.

Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Micronesia and Maine.
