Permission to Rejoice
Permission to Rejoice
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice.”
Philippians 4:4
Rejoice is both a command and a promise. God not only exhorts you to always rejoice, he makes it possible for you to rejoice.
The only thing required to rejoice in the Lord is to have a right relationship with Christ.
If you have a right relationship with Jesus today, he wants you to rejoice in him, and he makes it possible.
The promise to rejoice is a universal promise that you can take as your own anytime, anywhere, in every situation.
No matter what you are facing today, God invites you to rejoice in the Lord.
When you rejoice in the Lord, you are not denying the reality of adverse circumstances, but you are affirming a higher reality.
Loving Father, today I choose to rejoice in Jesus’ name.
Please PRAY!
