Promised Rest

Promised Rest

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Rest is often hard to come by. We live busy lives. We put a premium on multitasking. It is easy to see rest as an interruption to an otherwise productive life.

Rest, however, is a gift from God; restlessness is of the devil.

Massive egos, selfish ambition, and striving for self-advancement try to rob you of God-given rest.

When you run yourself ragged, too many sleepless nights in a row, running on adrenaline, Jesus invites you to come and receive his promised rest.

In reality, rest is not the absence of toil. Rest is the presence of God.

We may be the first generation in history to worship our work, work at our play, and play at our worship. God wants to change all that.

When Jesus invites you to come, he invites you to worship the One worthy of worship, and he will give you rest.

Loving Father, I take your promised rest today in Jesus’ name.

Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Marshall Islands and Wyoming.
