A Catalytic Word
A Catalytic Word
For the Word of God is living and active. Hebrews 4:12
God not only wants you to read the Bible, He wants to encounter you in your daily Bible reading.
If Bible reading has become a hollow religious discipline, today God wants to clean out the cobwebs, open up the windows, and give you a breath of fresh air.
The Bible is itself living and active. This means it is catalytic, life-giving, inseminating, birthing. The Bible sets things in motion.
We all know that parts of the Bible were written 3,500 years ago, and yet they are as alive and life-giving as the moment they were first written. God wants to start new things in you, in your family, and in the lives of people around you.
Don’t just read the Bible today as if it is a history book; the Bible is “living” and brings to life new things inside of you. The Bible is “active” and able to initiate new godly activities. In your daily Bible reading, allow God to give life to you today.
Father God, I receive Your living and active Word. Use it like a catalyst to initiate new things in me today.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Tonga and Illinois.
This daily Christ-encountering, fire-starter is not intended to replace your daily Bible reading and prayer time, but rather to motivate you to spend extended time in His presence.
