Curtain-torn Encounter

Curtain-torn Encounter

And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.  Luke 23:45

Today is known as Good Friday, the day on the Christian calendar when we pause to honor the crucified Christ. At 12 noon that day, darkness was over the entire land until 3 PM. Not only did the sun seem to be extinguished, but something else equally phenomenal took place in the temple-- the enormously thick tapestry that separated the holy place from the holy of holies was torn right down the middle.

This tapestry separated even the priests from being able to enter. It was only the high priest who was allowed into the holy of holies, and then only one time each year on the Day of Atonement. The curtain was torn by God Himself because He was offering the ultimate blood sacrifice for sin--the Lamb of God.

Today, you and I are given permission to come boldly before the mercy seat, the ultimate ark of the covenant in heaven, because of Christ.

Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Tuvalu and New Hampshire.
