An Empty Tomb Encounter
An Empty Tomb Encounter
He is not here, for he has risen. Matthew 28:6
The early disciples came to know Jesus better following His ascension into heaven than they did when they lived with Him for three years. The words, "He is not here, for He has risen," pointed them to the new normal. Think about it.
The disciples never understood that Jesus would die, be raised from the dead, and then ascend to Heaven, even though Jesus told them many times. Now they experience the shock of their lives! This is one of the greatest a-ha moments in history.
Christ died.
Christ is raised -- the tomb is empty and He will soon appear to them on many different occasions.
Christ will ascend into heaven right before their eyes.
They will then return to the upper room and encounter the ascended Christ in greater fullness then they ever did before His death.
On this Resurrection Sunday you too can have an upper room encounter with Christ that will exceed any encounter the disciples had before His ascension.
Hallelujah. Christ is risen!
Father, I come boldly into your presence today and exalt the ascended glorified Christ.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Belgium and Kentucky.
